Join us the Easter Weekend

We have so many activities both on and off the water planned for next weekend, we really hope you will be able to join us. We've had a real mix of weather last week - sometimes mild and sunny, sometimes cold and windy. So whatever you decide to have a go at, do bring plenty of layers.

We kick start the racing this year with a series of 3 "First on the Water" races for dinghies and Hawks. These will be held on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. On Easter Sunday, you are invited to race for the chance to win a chocolate Easter egg! There will be breakfast baps and hot drinks in the clubhouse every day until 12:00. On water volunteers are reminded to meet by the garage 75 mins before the scheduled race start and if breakfast is on the schedule, you will be invited to a complimentary buttie and hot drink. Good Friday: Would you like to kick start your Easter weekend with a good deed? After the positive feedback from our Coronation litter pick, we have teamed up the Brancaster parish council for another clean up. Many of you commented that it would be good to collect litter before the weeds got too big, so hopefully the timing of this event is spot on. Everyone is welcome to join us from 10:30am. Bags, grabbers, and high viz jackets will be made available, please bring your own gloves if you wish. There will be complimentary tea and cake in the clubhouse after. If anybody would like to donate baked goods for this event, we would be very grateful. Donations of cake, flapjack, rocky road etc, can be delivered to the clubhouse from 08:30 on Friday morning, or please call Alex on 07747 597902 to arrange another time if Friday is inconvenient.

Women on the Water, will be meeting up for drinks from 18:00 on Friday evening. Partners are always welcome :)

On Easter Saturday, we will be showing live coverage of the Oxford and Cambridge boat race from 14:30 and then the Launching Supper will be served at 19:30, please do come early for drinks. The menu is available to view here https://www.bssc.net/event/launching-supper-1

The Easter Bunny has promised to visit and we will start the annual Easter Egg hunt for junior members around the clubhouse at 11am on Sunday.

If you would like to attend this year's Murder Mystery evening on Friday 5th April, we need to have your booking by Tuesday 2nd April. A buffet dinner and glass of Prosecco are included in the ticket price and a minimum of 25 people are needed for this event to go ahead.
