Welcome to BSSC Sailing Week 2026!
We are delighted to be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sailing Week here at Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club.

Schedule:
- Briefing - Saturday 15th August at 16:30 in the marquee
- Racing day 1 - Sunday 16th August, first race start at 08:30
- Racing day 2 - Monday 17th August, first race start at 09:00
- Racing day 3 - Tuesday 18th August, first race start at 09:40
- Sailing Week Social - Tuesday at 18:00 in the marquee. Details to follow.
- Racing day 4 - Wednesday 19th August, first face start at 10:15
- Racing day 5 - Thursday 20th August, first race start at 11:00
- Prize giving - Thursday at 17:00 in the marquee, followed by Sailing Week volunteers drinks.
- BSSC Summer Party with live music - Friday 21st August. Details to follow.
Note that if 6 boats of the same class enter the Sea handicap fleet, they will compete for a separate prize from the main handicap fleet.
Registration for racing is now open at Open Events.
This is an open event and entries from the wider sailing community are welcomed. Non-members will require a login to our website in order to register and pay for entry. Please email members@bssc.net in order to receive login details.
Registration for Sea fleets closes at Midnight on Sunday 2nd August 2026
- Single handed entry fee: £55, Double handed: £70
Registration for Harbour fleets closes at Midnight on Sunday 9th August 2026
- Single handed entry fee: £35, Double handed: £46
- Cockles will sail 4 days, Monday - Thursday
Single day entries are also possible, please register for each day you wish to sail individually. If you are racing 4 days it is cheaper and easier to register for the whole week.
Members wishing to volunteer to support Sailing Week, whether on the water or in shore-based roles, can register here. Sailing Week cannot run without the generosity of our volunteers and we are eternally grateful for any support that you can provide.
