Happy New Year!

I'll forgive you, if you thought I'd used last weeks photo again. While we've had the odd grey rainy day, we've enjoyed a lot of crisp blue-sky weather like this. It does wonders for lifting the spirit and I really hope you've been able to get out over the holidays and enjoy some refreshing winter sunshine.

On the subject of photography, we asked you for your best harbour shots for the 2023 handbook cover. Some really beautiful photos were sent in, and whilst many argued that 35 ladies in wetsuits on the beach was exceptionally fabulous, the winning photo was a lovely sunset provided by Keith Bedford. Well done Keith, don't forget to pick up your bottle of bubbles next time you come into the clubhouse.

We are in the planning stage for many new, exciting social events for 2023. After a lot of requests for Friday night suppers, we'd like you to put a note in your diary for the last Friday of the month. On Friday 27th January we will offer a two course set menu with a speaker at 18:30 and supper around 19:30. On Friday 24th February we are planning something really special (hint, you may wish to dust off something a little glam for this one). We will let you know details very soon.

Members of the Wayfarer Association will be coming to Brancaster Staithe for a social sail on the weekend of 10th to 12th February. You can find more details about this on their facebook page. If any of our Wayfarer sailors would like to take part, do let us know.

This Sunday we will be open for lunch, if you can book by email and let us know your choice of meat, it really helps us reduce food waste and seat as many members as possible.We look forward to seeing you soon
