Brilliant turnout this May bank holiday

At least the weather held out dry, even if it was quite chilly at times over the bank holiday weekend. It was lovely to see so many members enjoying the balcony. Results from all races are on the website. It's now raining but set to be dry with nice wind at the weekend for Hawk, Cruiser and Dinghy Handicap races which all take place on the evening tides. Congratulations to all the RYA course participants who completed Basic Skills and Start Sailing this weekend. The clubhouse was filled with positive energy and a massive thank you goes out to all instructors, assistant instructors, support boat helms, crews and all the other helpers who made this a successful weekend. We will definitely be looking at making this an annual event.

Swallows and Amazons had lots of fun sailing at Burnham Overy Staithe last Thursday. This week we'll be meeting at BSSC clubhouse for more sailing fun. Children of all ages are welcome, if you'd like to join in please contact Rosie Newport.

As the dinghy park starts to fill up, we've received many reports of dinghies parked incorrectly. This is difficult to rectify when a lot of members chose to lock their boats. Please double check your space on the Members Hub. Login and look under "My Boats" you will see which space you have been allocated (very few have changed since last year). Then check the map on the board next to the front door BEFORE you leave your boat. Stickers can be collected any time we are open and if you are not sure about the map and where to go, please do ask us.

WoW (Women on the Water - men also welcome) will be meeting up this Saturday at 5pm. let us know if you'd like to join the what's app group and come along for a friendly sail.

There are some volunteer positions to be filled on the Duty Roster this Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. If you are available to help out, please login and go to "Duty Roster" you'll be able to see who has signed up already and you can click the blue "Volunteer" box to join in the fun. Opening times from Thursday 1st June to Sunday 4th June:
Thursday 15:00 until 22:00, dinner service 18:00 until 21:00. (HW17:16)
Friday 17:00 until 22:00, dinner service from 18:00 until 21:00. (HW18:01)
Saturday 11:30 until 22:00, lunch service from 12:00 until 3pm and dinner service 18:00 until 21:00. (HW18:46)
Sunday 11:00 until 21:00, lunch service from 12:00 until 3pm. (HW19:31)

Below is our June menu. There will also be sweet and savoury bar snacks available all day, these cannot always be kept on the bar due to food safety regulations so please do ask staff what is available. If you have any questions regarding special dietary requirements please ask us when ordering your food.

We recommend reserving a table in advance by email especially for large groups. Tables of 8 or more people should email a pre order from the menus below.
