We had superb conditions for racing this weekend, only the time of tide could have been better. A small but enthusiastic fleet of Hawks and All-comers went racing very early on Saturday and Sunday morning. The Hawk Spring series is now underway and the 1st of the Typhoon series set the bar high with a fabulous course from Race Officer Rich Turner, we do love a long down wind leg! A huge thank you to all the safety teams for getting of bed at such a ridiculous time of day. Next weekend's racing is at lunch time, how civilised :D The Hawk Spring series continues and Club Cups for All-comers gets underway - both to be concluded over the Bank Holiday weekend. All race results can be found here.

Coming up this Sunday we have the Cruiser Launching Lunch. Please email Phill Smith by Wednesday evening if you'd like to join them.

The Hawk Fleet will have their Spring Dinner on Sunday 3rd May. We'd like to take this opportunity to welcome Jonny and Sally McIrvine as the new Hawk fleet Captains. They take over from Clive Odell and continue to extend a warm welcome to any members of BSSC, who are even a little bit interested in Hawk sailing, to join them for dinner. For more information about the dinner or sailing with the Hawk fleet, please get in touch via email.

There is one sailing space remaining on the Women on the water spring training camp. This will run on 27th and 28th May and includes yoga with the ever patient and humorous Rachel Blunt! Please sign up online for the training days and / or dinner.

Menus for next weekend are shown below, if you would like make a booking for lunch or dinner, please email us: the_clubhouse@bssc.net
