Thanks for making the launch fantastic!

We've had a real taste of spring weather here. Temperatures rose and lots of people were here at BSSC to kick off the Easter holidays. I must start by apologising for an error in last week's email. The volunteers who laid the buoys in the harbour were; Stephen Harvey, Chris Spink, Charlie Parfitt, Bruce Kemp and Magnus Medcalf.

I was thrilled with all the compliments for my bright red BSSC hoodie on Sunday. If you'd like to get your hands on our fabulous merchandise; hoodies, polo shirts, t-shirts, caps and beanies can be ordered from Birds of Dereham. There will also be a 2025 sailing week t-shirt coming in the summer.

Slightly less thrilling was the sight of a wide open front door 2 days in a row. If the shutter at the staircase is down, this means there are no staff in the building. Please ALWAYS close the front door behind you. The security of our clubhouse is everyone's responsibility.

On a much more fun note, we have started up a Strava Club! Please join the club and share your sailing activities - we love to see all those wonky red lines criss-crossing the harbour! Just use this link to find BSSC Strava!

We will be reintroducing the Thursday email with all the menus for the weekend. Please watch out for that arriving to your inbox this week.

We have already taken a lot of bookings for Easter weekend, so if you wish to dine at the clubhouse over the holiday, we recommend booking your table by email the_clubhouse@bssc.net to avoid disappointment.
